    Hey guys!!!

Loved the class in Hampton and want to get to the NING Group but can’t find it or the link. Help please!!! *S*

Also, would love to add you all to my sidebar on my blog. I blog at http://www.flatwoodsfolkart.typepad.com.

Can’t wait to see you in Portland and I am trying to get through sending out some class proposals before tackling something that might work for your book. Do you still want me to make you a mold of the piece I showed you in class?

    Thanks!!!

    Lesley

    Hi Kerin,
Thanks so much for commenting on my typepad! The dress form on the rights’ wire armature was purchased. I did one with pattern material too. Somewhere in my postings is a pic of that one too. I put an LED light in them so they are lamps of a sort. I cant wait to get started on another mech. bird.
    Thanks again,
    R

Hi Kerin & Charley – I’m glad my life has settled enough to get back to more art and reacquaint myself with your website and your art. I love your blog posts and wanted to let you know that I’m adding yours to my blog roll if that’s okay with you.

I don’t know when I’ll get a chance to take a class from you two again.. but it will happen!

    Hi, Kerin,

I am a member of the Mixed Media ning group, and I had seen the announcement of your Resin Clay pendant workshop awhile back and was very curious about it–it looks great–but what I am wondering is, I haven’t seen anyone here where I live (Barcelona, Spain) who carries resin clay,
so I was wondering if you knew of anywhere in Europe where I could get ahold of some online,
or if you had a kit that goes with the workshop that could be sent out?

I am keen to learn how to ues the resin clay–I have experimented a little with polymer clay and would love to broaden my horizions in the medium…It looks like great fun.

Cheers and happy new year 2011!
    Lisa

Hi Kerin — I just read your book, Curious Dreams, cover to cover. I love your philosophy that you should create what you love. It inspired me and gave me hope because I make odd, semi-dark, bizarre things that are often hard to find a market for. Your book gave me the push I needed to keep going and not just give up and create “nice” paintings and sculptures.

I’d love to take a class from you someday — I was just at Art-Is-You for one day and took a Michael deMeng class — so great! I’d also love to hear more of your story about sticking to what you love and making a living at it.

    Thanks!
